Proof Helper is for the assignments that ask you to show something is true rather than compute a number. Tell it what you need to prove and what you are allowed to assume, and it proposes a strategy (direct, contrapositive, contradiction, induction, two-column geometry), explains why that strategy suits the statement, then builds the proof line by line with a justification for each: a definition, an axiom, an earlier line, or a named theorem. It also points out the common gaps that lose marks, like assuming what you are trying to prove or skipping the base case, and it states clearly when a step relies on a result you may not have covered.
State the claim precisely, using the exact wording from the assignment, and list the definitions and results you may cite; a proof that uses a theorem you have not covered is not useful to you. Say which format your course expects, since a two-column geometry proof and a paragraph proof in analysis are marked differently. Before reading the tutor's version, try writing the first two lines yourself. If you already have a draft, paste it and ask for a check: it will find the first line that does not follow.
